MacTechGrp Meeting Wednesday May 6, 2009 7-9PM Room 335 Bldg E51 MIT
Sloan School

Speaker - Matt Allen

We have a special presentation this month by Matt Allen of The
Mathworks. Matt's been working on Ruby problems and has also done a
bit of iPhone development. Here's the description of his talk:

"Ruby Design Patterns

Design Patterns are an integral part of development, as they contain
ready made solutions to common problems we face every day. However,
today's most common patterns are steeply rooted in Java and C++. This
talk will discuss how they work with Ruby, what changes, and what is
already built in."

Got iPhone/Mac Development stuff you want to show or talk about?
Bring it to the meeting, and mention it during the first half hour or
so, along with questions and announcements!
