The MacTechGroup holds meetings for Macintosh programmers on the first Wednesday of each month at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Subject:  Instruments Automation


Our demonstration will be on building a test jig using Instruments Automation.  If it's one thing I hate, it's sitting there testing out all the code paths on the app, and trying to remember to hit them all so I can exercise all the code I've written.  We'll show how to use the Automation Instrument to concoct a test script, and how to deal with the crummy scripts it generates for you, and work them into shape.

In addition, it'll be the day after the Apple Event, so we'll talk about all the stuff that comes out from there.


Update:  We have a more books to give away at tomorrow's meeting from O'Reilly Press.
