We come roaring out of our summer break with a great meeting on music.
I've finally been able to coax T.J. to give us a presentation on the music work he's been doing.  Here's his description of his presentation:

 Software is, in most ways, about abstraction. Abstraction is difficult. 
Music theory is, in most ways, about abstraction. Abstraction is difficult.

These symmetrical realizations came to me while working on TJUMusicTheory. The goal of TJUMusicTheory is to represent core axioms of music theory in a meaningful and flexible manner. In this presentation I will narrate  and discuss the evolution of the library. My goal is to excite you about music theory and/or shared code!

Note:  I should have a good batch of fresh books to give away -- free to attendees.  We'll raffle them off.
The first half hour to hour, we have an open discussion session.
