There's lots of ways to make money writing software.  I'm going to review most of the methods I know, and what I've learned about software sales over the last couple of decades.  This will be a non-technical meeting, and you're welcome to add your own experiences and techniques for the selling of software.

Bring out your bugs!  We'll also be happy to look over your code to find out where you went wrong.  Free code debugging.
